Leif Zern: Why does not extra critics as an actor?

Suddenly, I remember one of the many less flattering letters that I received during my life as a critic from the theater’s own practitioners and who ended in the following call: « Try you see yourself! »

Almost all authors of my generation have been a literary critic, from some elderly such as Per Olov Enquist and Lars Gustafsson (Expressen) to several peers such as Björn Håkanson (Aftonbladet), Torsten Ekbom and Leif Nylén (DN). Perhaps the solution for the theater criticism lies in a similar division of labor – that is, extra necker as a director or why not actors. The alternative is the pious hope I received from another of the country’s more famous engineer: « May the pen rot in your hand! »
