Lefkada: Dead 30 -year -old drowned in Kathisma beach

In a tragedy, the joy of a 30 -year -old from Trikala went to Lefkada with his friends for Bachelor and was lost in huge waves on Kathisma beach.

The unfortunate young man would marry his beloved in mid -June and designed a trip with his friends before the wedding.

According to what was known, the unfortunate man was drowned when he was dragged by the huge waves while swimming on Kathisma beach.

According to friends of the 30 -year -old, who were present at the tragic incident, frightened saw him rinse from the waves of the sea without his senses.

They tried to save him

Port and EKAB with the help of the Fire Brigade, they managed to take the man to the ambulance and from there to the Lefkada Hospital.

According to ilefkada.gr, the Deputy Mayor of Civil Protection and Firefighter, Nikos Lazaris, was accidentally on the beach.

He, along with other swimmers, tried to save the 30 -year -old while swimming and was still alive, but the huge waves did not allow them to approach him.
