Lecheva is afraid of international sanctions, will continue to come to work at BOC every day

The newly elected chairman of BOC Vesela Lecheva intends to come to work every day at the Committee building on Angel Kanchev Street. She stated this after crossing the threshold of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee today at 09:30 in the morning, but was greeted only by the secretary. Two hours later, Lecheva, along with Danail Dimov, who was elected Secretary General of the BOC last week by the new Executive Committee, left the building on Angel Kanchev Street, having previously had a conversation with Stefka Kostadinova’s lawyer – Teodora Zlateva.

« We have made enough attempts to contact the old guide on the phone, but we failed. So we came today to meet Mrs. Stefka Kostadinova, » Dimov explained. Lecheva’s legal team, which also has Danail Dimov, claims that the newly elected president has the right to work operationally operate, only decisions affecting third parties, such as signing contracts and the conclusion of agreements, cannot be made. However, Kostadinova’s team is of the opinion that until the decision of the complaints, only she has the right to manage the organization.

There are currently 8 commercial cases against Lecheva’s election, and because of them, the entry of the new chairman and executives in the Commercial Register has been suspended. Five of the cases are individual – by Belcho Goranov, Plamen Krastev, Zhivko Vangelov, Hristo Markov and Atanas Tarev; Three are from sports federations, namely those of Muay Thai, lifting weights and wrestling.

« I am not worried about these complaints because they can hypothetically grow to the number of voters in support of Mrs. Kostadinova.
