Lebedev fifth place in Speedway Grand Prix in the second stage of the season / day
Lebedev, who stepped on the podium for the first time in history in this series in early May, finishing third in the first race. After the start, Daugavpils came to second position among Poly Dominic Kuber and Dan Michel Michael, reaching the finish in the same place.
In his second race, Lebedev finished third in a close battle against Poly Barting Zmarzlik, leaving the world champion without points. In the next race, the Latvian speedway took the lead after an excellent start, which was strengthened in the last lap and celebrated.
In the fourth race, Lebedev threatened Jack Holder’s lead, but eventually defeated the Australian who was also unbeaten in the first three races. In his last main race, Lebedev was in the lead from the first bend to the finish, celebrating another victory.
After the Main Event, Australian Holders and Breidy Kerz secured a place in the finals as the first two places. Lebedev was third and his final hopes in the semi -finals had a first choice.
Lebedev decided to start from the first path, but in the first turn he conceded from the third path to the cuber. The Latvian motorsport player finished second behind the Polish and did not qualify for the final, where Patrick Dudek, Kuber compatriot later entered.
In the last trip of the day, the Australian duo prevented the Poles from getting the first two places. The winner was the Holder followed by Kerz, Dudek and Kubera.
In the overall ranking after two rounds, Lebedev is third with 29 points. The leader Kercam has 38 points, while the second with 33 points is Zmarzlik.
Last season, Lebedev ranked tenth in the overall ranking with the organizers’ special invitation, while Paul Bartosh Zmarzlik became the world champion.
The Latvian motorsport player secured a place in the series this season after winning the European Championship last year.
In 2025, the Grand Prix season is scheduled for ten stages, of which the eighth of which will take place in Riga in early August, but the final season will be held in Denmark in mid -September.
