Leader: Donald Trump said he could not be purchased, then he bought the richest men of the United States
When Donald Trump took a step into politics, around 2015, he claimed that all politicians can be purchased by companies and Wall Street, lobbyists and industry organizations. Everyone – except himself, that is.
He was already rich.
Since becoming a politician, it has turned out how wrong he was: the richest throw money over him.
Record -sized sums were collected for Trump’s presidential installation in January. Once the ceremony went off, the leaders were responsible for the largest tech companies lined up.
Elon Musk was like that Sold on the concept that it ended with him hearing.
It was like Trump stated an example: see how the world’s richest men bow to me now.
Think of Metas founder Mark Zuckerberg. He who sat far higher goals about diversity in their companies than other tech guys and introduced fact checks to quell disinformation. Last fall, he flew to Trump’s MAR-A-LAGO for a Tête-à-Tête. Then Facebook’s fact review was removed. The diversity goals were abolished. The martial arts manager and Trump supporter Dana White were appointed to the Company Board. Zuckerberg reconciled a dispute with Trump – and paid millions.
And just a couple of years ago, Trump and Elon Musk were in public. But now the teslagaren is constantly running around with Maga caps. Musk poured at least A quarter of a billion Dollar in the Trump campaign. When the Trump tariffs were introduced, Musk’s assets decreased in value by 30 billions of dollars. But not even then did he dare to criticize the president, but directed the frustration at others in the administration.
When a restaurant owner pays money to the mafia, it does not buy power – it asks not to be damaged.
Just Musk seems – except when his own wealth is affected – convinced that the president’s policy is needed. But he had probably bowed to Trump for anyway. Almost everyone does now.
For Trump is similar More a mafia boss than a corrupt politician. When a restaurant owner pays money to the mafia, it does not buy power – it asks not to be damaged.
Tech companies, law firms, universities, news media-free institutions that are not punished. They get, so to speak, « an sacrifice they can’t refuse ».
And just like Don Vito Corleone in the « Godfather », Trump can sit and receive visitors who praise him, offer gifts and ask for support. It does not matter if the person – like vice president JD Vance, Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg – has struggled with the president before. Anyone who shows loyalty can now expect beneficial outcomes, or at least not have to get the political version of a horse head in bed.
