Law enforcement is trained according to the highest standards
Albania’s Security Academy for the first time has been accredited by the International Association of Directors of Standards and Law Enforcement Training (IADLEST). At the ceremony organized on this occasion were present the deputy chief of the US Embassy in Tirana, Kathryn Hammond, Director General Ilir Proda, Director of Police Supervisory Agency, Florian Sulejmani, Rector of the Police Academy, Ilirjan Mandro, staff and graduates of the International Law Academy.
In her speech, Hammond said that « this accreditation certifies that law enforcement in Albania is trained to the highest standards of more than 30 member states around the world, including the United States. The Albania’s Security Academy went beyond, achieving the association’s excellence price in its first year that only four other international academies have achieved. »
« Meeting these standards makes Albania a stronger security partner for the United States.
