The second group will feature Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, Serbia, Czech Republic, France, Ukraine, Hungary.

« We are very happy. In the second group, most teams are either the teams who qualified for the final tournament after the first round or the second round winners. We can fight for medals. The favorite of our group is Poland, but the Estonians in the second round fought hard with Spain, which could be the next behind Poland. » The results were commented on by the head coach of the Latvian U-16 national team Joren Janishonis.

« At the moment, I can only highlight the Spaniards and the Poles. Of course, the other teams must be respected, but if you compare to the other group, the lottery has been pleasant. Now, just ourselves have to do it to be competitive. Everything is ahead.

The six first place winners will qualify for the World U-17 Championship.
