Latvian hockey players lose Switzerland / Day in their last test game
Eduards Tralmaks scored a goal for the Latvian national team, who was the first to go on the field in this training camp, and Felix Gavars. The gate was guarded by Marek Miten.
The Latvians took the lead in the middle of the first third, when Tralmax intercepted the puck in the middle zone and slipped one to the goalkeeper, being flawless. Not only did the lead in the second half of the second period take the lead, but they also scored a two -goal lead, with accurate shots with Tim Bern, Michael Forus and Dario Rorbaham.
In the third minute of the third period, Gavars, after a pass by Kristaps Skrastiņš, went to Leonardo Jennon in the minority and reached 2: 3.
Towards the end of the regular time, the fight became sharper and the hockey players of both teams also fought fists. In the last minutes, the Latvians replaced the goalkeeper with a sixth player on the field, and Fabian Ricman sent the puck into the empty goal.
On Thursday, the Latvians won the aftermath of these teams with a 3: 2 lead in the aftermath.
After the preparation phase, the Latvian team will meet with the Norwegian team after match with Switzerland in early May.
In preparation for the World Cup, Latvian hockey players beat Austria in the first two test games, but played two matches against Finland in Riga, first winning by 3: 2 and then losing by 1: 4.
The 2025 World Championship in May will take place in Stockholm, where the Latvian team will also play, and in the Denmark city of Herning.
