The time for waiting for an answer to emergency calls can be longer than usual. The Center for Alarm asks everyone who needs urgent assistance, stay on the line after recruiting 112 and not interrupting the challenge until the operator is connected. People are also asked to be patient at crossing the border, writes Rus.delfi.

According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, there was a technical failure that affects the work of the Center for Alarm. For this reason, delays in the answer to emergency calls 112 and education on the line of queues are possible. People are strongly asked not to hang the phone and wait for the operator’s response. It is worth remembering that number 112 is intended only for emergency situations when life, health or property are under threat.

Due to the malfunction in the database, the work of the information system of border control of the police and border guard department is also violated. This interferes with border control at the checkpoints. The most problem affected the border point in Narva, where the line of about 300 people had already formed. At the Tallinn Airport, about ten people are waiting for the “non -Schengen” zone, and several buses with about 50 passengers are expected at the southern border points.

The Ministry is engaged in the restoration of IT services. The restoration of the work will be reported additionally.

“We apologize to everyone for inconvenience,” the ministry noted.
