Large M-Association: Eliminate Mother Tongue Education at School
The three motions were recently voted through in unanimity during the Federal General Meeting in Vänersborg and sent on to the National Party meeting in 2027.

The motions about The mother tongue teaching, voting rights and the order grades have Hampus Magnusson as one of the signatories.
Marith Hesse and M in Partille put the proposal for mother tongue teaching a couple of years ago and in the motion that was now being clubbed referred to « clear shortcomings in efficiency and an unacceptable risk of political and religious influence » and that the money makes greater benefit in core subjects as Swedish.
Citizenship requirements In order to vote in the municipal and regional elections are justified, among other things, that « unwanted non-democratic currents can have a foothold and are given decisive influence » with today’s system, where non-EU citizens who have been registered for at least three years may vote.

– It is clear from the investigator that more research is needed if mother tongue teaching has a positive effect. Sure, there is no evidence for direct negative effects, but no clear evidence of positive. And that some perform better may as well be because they are just more study -motivated to read mother tongue.
Magnusson also refers to the cost, in the City of Gothenburg last year 101 million.
– That money should instead be spent on the fact that the students learn good Swedish.
