Large hunting and fishing areas disappear in Finnmark
The annual meeting in NJFF-Finnmark expresses strong concern about significant reduction of our areas for hunting and fishing when implementing the « Power Promotion for Finnmark ».
This can involve:
1. Development of previously protected watercourses
In Finnmark, the protection for 51 watercourses has been abolished.
Exposed watercourses include the Tana River, the Stabburselva, Lakselva, Syltefjordelva, Repparfjordelva, with many more in Finnmark.
The annual meeting in NJFF-Finnmark requires that all such nature interventions must be avoided. The interventions will cause disastrous restrictions on our opportunity to exercise our outdoor interests.
