Kylie Minogue shifts Berlin concert because of illness
Kylie Minogue has postponed her concert in Berlin for next Monday (June 16). She suffered from a virus infection with hoarseness, as the Australian pop singer (« I should be so Lucky ») announced on the platform X. Several media had previously reported.
«Unfortunately, Kylie has to postpone her planned concert in the Uber Arena for illness. The replacement date will be announced immediately, »says a message. The tickets keep their validity.
In a personal statement, the 56-year-old wrote: « I tried everything to get well again quickly, but I need a few days to be fit enough again to deliver the show you deserve. »
Where are further concerts planned?
In addition to Berlin, appearances in Lodz, Kaunas and Tallinn are also affected. The singer recently ended the UK stage of her “Tension Tour”. She has been traveling worldwide since February – with shows in Australia, Asia, North America and Great Britain. The next appearance on July 7 in Düsseldorf is to take place in Germany.
It has been the largest tour of the superstar in more than ten years: there should be around 70 concerts around the world by August. Minogue, the most successful singer in her home country with more than 80 million records, swims more than 35 years after the start of her music career on a new wave of success – thanks to her 16th studio album « Tension » published in 2023 with the « Padam Padam » catchy tune and the « Tension II », which was released in October in October.
