Kusa Analytical Observation: Macedonia and the Fontain block declaration

Two days ago, from Paris, new political tones echoed, expanding across the Old Continent. These tones are not resonance with the rhetoric and behavior of Emanuel Macron, president of France. On the contrary, they are diametrically different and even contrasting.
« The identity and individual interests of the European peoples, as well as the sovereignty of states in Europe, should be respected, without any interventions in their internal affairs, » said a joint declaration of the Fontaineblo, adopted three days ago near Paris at the European Patriots’ Summit. Together with other European politicians right -wing and national leaders from the « Patriots for Europe » parties.

The Fontainebling Declaration is of great importance for the following period, for Macedonia, for the identity of the Macedonian people, sovereignty, and for the interests of all Macedonian citizens

75 years ago, the « fathers » of the initial original European community, Conrad Adenauer, Jean Monnet, Alchide de Gaspari, Robert Schumann and others, formed the Association of European States and Nations today known as the European Union. But it is already observed that the « fathers » of the new « Europe of Sovereign Nations », as a concept of a reformed EU, which as if to be born before our eyes, are Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini and others. After all, a strong confirmation in addition to the fact that the birth of the new Europe is already taking place, in parallel with the gradual disappearance of the current militarized and hypocritical EU, « barbed » with the European peoples, give the « patriots for Europe » with their call for the « rebirth of the European continent on the basis of respect for the respects of the Principles of the Nations.

And what call to us are Ursula von der Leyen, Kaya Calas, Martha Kos, Antonio Costa and other Brussels Euro -Hellenic? Call commands that « for Macedonia there is neither plan A nor B, but it is obliged to change the Constitution, nothing less and nothing more »! Call war and that « Europe must be prepared for war with Russia » because the war in Ukraine must continue!

Leaders of the « Patriots for Europe » Alliance in their declaration by Fontaineblow expressed « their intention to work together to restore the strength, peace and freedom of Europe ». They and their parties have expressed their « concern that although many nations are now based on their defense policy of national interests, the European Union remains anchored in outdated ideological frameworks ». Also, the current Macedonian state-political leadership of Macedonia is based on its policy of defending state-national interests, but their EU de facto ignores and violates them with its abundant support for Macedonia’s « good neighbors ».

Having this in mind, several questions are asked. How to Valorize the Declaration of Fontaineblo? Developing deeper contacts and cooperation with the leaders of the « patriots for Europe », where, of course, leading primarily by the Macedonian political specificities? Is it already time for Macedonia to begin to be more intensively involved in the currents in the new « Europe of Sovereign Nations », which are reflected in both the Fontainebling Declaration and how?
Maybe it becomes a limiting factor for state-national interests « unconditional adherence to the EU’s common foreign and security policy »? Perhaps these lines in these moments sound unnatural, elusive, but if we continue « to ferment in the EU waiting room », locked by Brussels, then in the words of one of our highly valued oenologist, « precisely those European elites are the direct culprits for the Macedonian wine to turn it into Bulgarian wine. »

The Fontaineblo declaration criticizes Brussels for « applying double standards to political forces that do not comply with its liberal mainstream »

National and political leaders of the « patriots for Europe » – one of the founders of the new European Union, are advocating Europe, which means the EU to act as « an intermediary and supporter in resolving regional conflicts », insisting that « peace must remain the highest priority of the continent ». This is exactly what Macedonia requires to resolve the truly regional/bilateral disputes, and even the new Sovereign Europe to mediate the overcoming of the disputes that Bulgaria and Greece have themselves with Macedonia and the Macedonian people, not Macedonia and the Macedonian people with them. Conflicts and disputes, especially in the Balkans, must be overcome, not encouraging and expanding, giving unprincipled support to anyone, as they are now official Brussels, and even France, in the case of Bulgaria against Macedonia.

In the Fontainebling Declaration, the « patriots for Europe » criticizes the EU for « applying double standards to political forces that do not comply with its liberal mainstream, especially in terms of sovereignty and migration policy ». They argue that « many citizens are now deprived of their right to determine their country’s future because of the ideological and interventionist agenda of the European Commission. » The right to determine the future of their country, as well as in the case of Macedonia, the EU and the leading European EU member states, are being able to determine the future of their country, also in the case of Macedonia, the EU and the leading European EU member states. Also, it is precisely the EU’s double standards policy that would be especially to Macedonia, whose European integration has long become a victim of those double standards. In fact, it can be said that this EU leadership is transforming its double standards to Macedonia as one of the « fundamental European values »!

Directly directing its foreign policy towards new sovereign currents, as Vikovito Orban said, « new winds already blowing across Europe », Macedonia has serious potential associates and positions to oppose « the politics of hypocrisy and double standards towards the current EU ».
