As announced from employees, Mohnen, 56, explained to his decision: « I have a grateful look at 13 years that I was able to help shape with Kuka. They have shaped me, especially the time as a CEO since 2018. » And he added: « We went through ups and downs together, survived crises and celebrated success. What always impressed me: The Kuka spirit is really unique. » For him it was always something special to be part of the team. The manager says: « I am an enthusiastic Kukaner and will remain, even if it is time for me to open a new chapter. » According to the employee, the manager left open how things will continue for him professionally. The KUKA supervisory board chairman Andy Gu assured: « Peter Mohnen successfully converted the company into a global, customer-oriented and innovative technology group and led the KUKA group to historical sales and earnings records. » He very much regretted the manager’s departure and wished him « all the best and continued success ».
