KUD « Racin » Kicevo won second place at the International Festival « We Play and Dance » in Durres, Albania
For the past two days, the KUD « Racin » from Kicevo participated at the International Festival « We are playing and dancing » held in Durres, Albania, which was of a competitive nature.
In strong competition with numerous ensembles from the region and beyond, Kicevo dancers won second place.
– The Cultural Art Association « Racin » from Kicevo has participated in the International Folk Festival « We are playing and dancing » held in Durres, Republic of Albania for the past two days. In strong competition our cultural and artistic company won second place and once again confirmed its high values -said choreographer Antonio Stojceski and thanked the hosts for the great hospitality.
« Once again we express our gratitude to the children’s cultural center in Durres under the leadership of Alda Zuferi, to the tireless artist and choreographer Arian Plaku, » Stojceski added.
In addition to this festival, KUD Racin was also a guest at the Kurbin Children’s Cultural Center, with a performance in the city of Lach, thus ending its successful three -day tour in Albania.
Stojceski expressed his gratitude to the director of the Cultural Center Mara Nikoli and the art leader Lad Tsara and announced the guest appearance of a smaller group of KUD « Racin » in Kosovo, where they will be guests of the children’s cultural center from Pristina and the Folk Song Ensemble.
