KTAMS: We will apply to the judiciary against the Unlawful Practices of the Central Prison Director – Cyprus Newspaper

Güven Bengihan, President of the Turkish Cypriot Public Officers Union (KTAMS), announced that the Central Prison Director would apply to the judiciary by arguing that the Prison Director of the Prison identified the shift responsible and inconveniently inconvenience.

Bengihan said in a written statement that the Central Prison is a workplace where the workload and working conditions are heavy due to its special conditions.

“Our union KTAMS brought up the central prison capacity due to the increasing number of crimes and criminals in parallel with the uncontrolled population growth, that the lack of personnel increased the workload of the employees and that there was a great unrest in the prison. “We announce to the public that our union KTAMS will apply to the judicial remedy regarding this practice, which is contrary to the Central Prison Law No. 45/1988, and will use all kinds of democratic action.”
