The Krka basketball players won the third game of the national championship finals against Cedevita Olympia and reduced the three -victory gap to 1: 2. They won 88:81 in front of home spectators. The fourth match will be on Monday, June 9, at 6 pm in Stožice, and the fifth will be held on June 12.
For Novo mesto residents, this is the first victory against Cedevita Olympia in seven games this season. At the same time, it also fully deserved, as they were at the forefront of practically the entire game. Krka is competing for the eighth national championship title – most recently winning 2014 – and the first laurel after the 2021 Cup.
Cedevita Olympia attacks the fifth consecutive title in the league, 22. In total, while winning the thirteenth consecutive laurel in the competitions of the Basketball Federation of Slovenia. Finally, she lost the finals 2020, and the last title, which she released from her hands in her semi -finals, was the Spar Cup 2021.

As a result, in the first half, they won a two -digit advantage and upgraded it to 61:44 in the third quarter. Five minutes before the end of the match, Cedevita Olympia approached five points behind (68:63), but the motivated home players were not dropped.
He stood out with the winners Niko Bačvić With 20 points with one missed throw from the game (5 rebounds, 5 assists). Jan Span added 16 points (triplets 4: 9), Brady Skeens 14 (7 rebounds) and Miha Cerkvenik 12 (6 rebounds).
