Kozani: Mitsotakis welcomed with episodes
Tension occurred on Thursday (3/4) outside the Ptolemais Heart Station (AE), in Kozani, at the time of the Prime Minister’s visit, Kyriakou Mitsotakis.
In particular, a protest was raised by the PPC trade unions, the Kozani, Ptolemais & Florina Labor Centers, Self -Governmental Agents and Citizens, who did not see the prime ministerial fiesta with a « good eye » in an economically distressed area.

According to kozan.gr, the protesters complained about the situation in which Kozani has been financially and developmental from 2019 until today.
The incidents occurred when reportedly, protesters attempted to get closer to the event.

Speaking to the event for the presentation of the PPC investment plan for Western Macedonia, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, from Kozani, said that « many have worked so that we can be pleased to speak with specific results today. And indeed, this plan has a main objective, a central purpose, and that is none other than the creation of many new, well -paid jobs that will replace the loss of jobs that inevitably has inevitably caused in your area. «
He referred to the period when he first had the policy of detoxification from Lignite in 2019, arguing that it was « a difficult, bold political decision, but it had to be inevitably accompanied by such a plan, so that we could give Western Macedonia, but first and foremost, but also for the young Macedonia, but also to the young men, attempt to create jobs here in the four regional units of Western Macedonia. «
As he said, « today we have every reason to be more optimistic. Finally, he announced that, « in consultation with the Ministry of Labor and the DBA we will call another 700 subsidized employment positions so that in this way we can provide immediate relief to the unemployed in your area. »
