Kosovo signed on June 13 Defense Agreements with US

This year, too, Kosovo will host the largest US military exercise in Europe planned and organized by the United States Army for Europe and Africa-Defender Europe two thousand and twenty-five, while on the thirteenth June will be signed a framework for cooperation in protection with the US.

This is what the Prime Minister of Kosovo said, Albin Kurti, while emphasizing that this year Kosovo has been selected where the United States of America will establish the command of its division from when all operations to be carried out in the Balkan region will be led.

At the General Council meeting, the chairman of the Self -Determination Movement, Albin Kurti announced that this is the third time that Kosovo hosts such a military exercise in its territory, which will engage over a thousand soldiers of the Kosovo Security Forces at home and abroad.

Among other things, Kurti indicated that on the thirteenth June in Washington the Framework Agreement on Defense Cooperation will be signed two thousand and twenty-two and thirty, between the Minister of Defense of Kosovo and the US Defense Representative.

Kurti said that to make substantive steps towards NATO membership has been specifically invested in the military. He said that in his mandate the soldiers were doubled, tripling the budget, fourfold training abroad, and centuries in weapons and ammunition purchases.
