Kosovo needs leaders, not for calculators of post -career posts and interests

Behgjet Pacolli writes that he waited for President Mesic: « I was pleased to wait in my home in Hajval, President Stjepan Mesić. There was also friend Idrizi who almost always follows President Mesić. »

But he has also posted a patriotic status where he reacts harshly to the non -establishment of Kosovo institutions from the new parliament. Behgjet Pacolli, not as a billionaire but as a big -hearted man for Kosovo and with European vision, has worked and works, without interest, for the state of Kosovo to be recognized and strengthened. But today’s Kosovar policy remains an interest and no patriotism.

Here’s what Pacolli writes:

“Kosovo is failing to choose the Assembly Chairman!

« I used to call me servile, ignorant and incapable of politics – just because resolving political crises, no matter who parties or partners were. I did it for Kosovo, because I knew every political blockade hurts the country. »

Do you see how bad it is when someone does not love his place? When do you use the public post for personal interests, for anger, for political accounts and not to represent the citizens who voted?

How down politics falls when the citizen’s trust openly. When the chair becomes more important than the country. When he violates the dignity of institutions just to please himself or the party leader. What a shame, how much failure!

For some time the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is failing to choose its chairperson – a basic, elementary function of institutional functioning. A crisis that should not even exist in a true democracy, but it sinks the state. I’m dragging the future. Is drowning hope.

What does this show? That we are no longer representatives of the people, but individuals focused on personal interests, political bargains and the power struggle. Not for the state, not for the citizen, but for himself!

How bad it is to use the money of the people, the salary paid by the taxpayers, not to do the minimum of your duty! How bad it is to show arrogance with the opportunity for the citizen – to help, change, to represent … and you turn it into a crisis and chaos.

Kosovo needs leaders, not post calculators. For vision, not for personal anger. For responsibility, not for institutional sabotage.

What is happening is the biggest political shame of recent years. It is an alarm signal that every citizen has to wake up: because if those we have chosen do not even perform the simplest task, then they do not deserve to stay in those posts for a day.
