« I have turned to the CEM to change the license because the distribution method is part of the license, but they have refused. If the CEM is ready and you are ready, we can gladly remove the two channels and this will lead to savings of the order of 5-6 million levs, » Koshlukov said.

According to Simona Veleva, the removal of the two channels from the multiplex raises a number of other questions such as whether it will continue to exist at all and whether it will lead to the raising of the BBC, « Nova TV » and « Bulgaria On Air », as they are only on multiplex at the moment.
« I am not saying that it cannot be discussed, but when thinking of such a mechanism, it is necessary to decide what the state’s policy is with regard to ground digital radio broadcasting, to investigate how many people will be affected and what the mechanism for their compensation is, » said Veleva.
