The tragedy in Komsomolsk on Amur took place on Saturday, April 26 around 15:00 local time. At the Teatralny Square in Komsomolsk there is an exhibition of the equipment of the Armed Forces of NATO and Ukraine acquired by the Russians.

According to the testimonies of people who participated in the exhibition, the child was viewed by one of the armored vehicles – the M113 transporter. The falling, poorly secured landing ramp crushed a four -year -old. The child suffered an open craniopulmonary injury. Attempts to save the boy were immediately made – an ambulance also appeared. Despite the quick reaction, the boy died.
« According to eyewitnesses, the boy stood under the APC, when one of the children inside pulled behind the lever, and the hatch opened and fell on his head. According to another version, the plumber simply leaked over time, and the heavy door opened by themselves » – say local media.

The exhibition was to be open to visitors until May 3, 2025. After a tragic event, it was closed to bystanders because investigations are underway. The authorities did not provide information whether the exhibition would resume.
