Kolektor purchased Unior Components Kragujevac

Unior has signed an contract for the sale and purchase of business stake at Unior Components Kragujevac yesterday with Kolektor Technologies companies, FMR funding and investment management, Kolektor investment management and FI financial engineering yesterday, Unior reported on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange website. The company is derived from the former Zastava system, and Unior bought it in 2005, engaged in mechanical engineering and auxiliary activities.

In Kolektor Technologies, they do not disclose the purchase price, but they explain that the business will be concluded when all the conditions and the consent of the regulators will be obtained.

The sale of Unior Components Kragujevac is part of the deleveraging and business transformation of the company of Zreče. Unior sold the Unitur tourist company in March this year, and now they have also sold a subsidiary in Serbia. They are also looking for a buyer for a third of Štore Steel. In early April, Unior also publicly confirmed that the company for the purposes of optimizing production processes, automation and growth of investment in the core business of the company, in accordance with the recommendation of the Supervisory Board, is examining the possibilities for the recapitalization of the company.

CEO Robert Vuga already at the sale of Unitur, he said that the divestment of investments was a step towards the deleveraging of the company. At the end of last year, the Unior Group had financial liabilities, and the net debt and EBTIDA ratio amounted to as much as 28.74. Namely, EBITDA slipped to just three million last year from the previous year. Last year, the Group generated EUR 250 million in revenue and made a year with EUR 54 million in debt.

At the end of 2024, Unior DD only had a debt of EUR 99 million, and the net Dog – EBITDA ratio reached 22.39. The umbrella company at € 191 million in revenue generated more than € 41 million in losses.
