Kocevski for the action in Kocani: For the detained 13 police officers there are suspicions of serious offenses against general security

13 people with police authority have been detained in last night’s action by the BPPO for organized crime and corruption, state prosecutor Ljupco Kocevski confirmed at today’s press conference. He pointed out that there are suspected suspicions that suspects as officials have committed severe offenses against general security.

In the present case there is a suspicion that in the period from 14 March 2025 to March 16, 2025 on the territory of SIA-Stip, the suspects as officials committed severe offenses against the general security- said Kocevski.

He clarified at the press conference that 13 police officers, as co-executives, did not comply with the regulations on protection measures, approved a plan for action control of catering facilities in the Police Station area (PS)-Kocani, without checking whether it has been covered by all operating performing police affairs.

For the sake of smooth conduct of criminal proceedings and securing the presence of the defendants, the Prosecutor’s Prosecutor has proposed the pre -trial judge of the Basic Criminal Court Skopje against the suspects to impose precautionary measures.
