Known where to play lynx and risen next year
The Slovenian men’s hockey team, which has won the elite family at the Stockholm World Cup after two decades, will also prove itself at the highest level next year. The lynxes will be played between May 15 and 31 in May 2026 in Zurich and Fribourg in Switzerland, decided by the competent at the IIHF Federation at the regular annual congress along the edge of the World Cup in Sweden and Denmark.
The 2026 Championships are expected to play national teams of Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Canada, Latvia, Hungary, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA. The groups and venues of the introductory part of the competition will be known after the end of this year’s tournament.
Our youth team (up to 20 years old) will also play at the IA SP Division in the coming season, which will be 7th to 13th December this year in Bled. Young lynxes will compete with the Austrians, French, Kazakhs, Norwegians and Ukrainians.
For the first time since 2018, the Slovenian women’s national team will re -enter the domestic championship. After taking the last place at this year’s Dumfries, Scotland, in the next season, she will measure the power at the Division II Championship, which will be from 13 to 19 April 2026 in Bled, according to the Hockey Federation of Slovenia. The risins will cross the bars with selected species of Australia, Iceland, Poland, North Korea and Taiwan.
