Kesishev to Palevski: I have a conscience, I said everything

At the trial of the murder of Vanja and Pance, defendant Vlatko Kesishev was questioned today by defendant Ljupco Palevski, who asked over 90 questions. The examination covered questions about threats, blackmail, as well as chronological compliance with the video presented by the prosecution.

Kesishev denied any threats or blackmail to him, members of « right » or visitors by Palcho, pointing out that he always gave advice.

He answered more questions about the evidence, including the blue backpack, which he said, « You see all the recordings, I can’t chew it on. »

Asked why the questions about whether he knows where the gun and the motorcycle he answered about a blue backpack, not a gun, he replied: « I suppose the pistol was in the backpack. If it were somewhere in it, he would have been known. If there was a gun next to you, he would certainly be known through the blouse. »

Regarding the events in Demir Kapija, it was mentioned that the biggest initiator of the walk was Velimir, who claimed that there was gold there.

Kesishev testified that the hole where Vanja was buried was dropped before the shot was heard. He said he had not heard a voice from the killed child because he was 20 meters away. He did not see a conversation between the defendant and the child, but only as he stands above the open rack.

As for the murder, he replied that he had not heard a mention of « Fersped », « A1 » or « apartment in Ohrid ». About the location of the event, Kesishev said he had sent the police to Brazza.

Answering Palevski’s questions, Kesishev confirmed that he was beaten by police and prison.

« Yes, I was beaten, they took me to hospital twice, » he said.
Asked « What was the police asking for you, why beat you »? « He said, » He was not looking for nothing in prison, they just beat me, and when they arrested me, there with the chief, when he stopped, he stopped talking with me in a quiet way and asked me to say everything, and I told him because I had a conscience.  » Kesishev said.

Questions by the defender of Palevski, lawyer Jovica Strashevski, Kesishev denied that along with Manev they digged the hole for Vanja.

Asked given that the traces of the shovel do not correspond to the traces of the scene, whether it means that the MoI did not obtain the concrete shovel, he replied that the police took the shovel in front of him, and there was another shovel who did not know who took it.

Regarding the time for Pance’s murder, he replied that he did not know him. Asked why after Pance’s murder, he did not withdraw and repent and continued to participate in another murder, he said he could not because, as he said, « I had heard too, and the first time Veljo told me that no one should know about this, I took it for granted. »

The indictment states that Ljupco Palevski, Bore Videvski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kesishov and Aleksandar Gjorcevski, together planned the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja in order to force a member of her immediate family to give money for ransom. The abduction of the damaged Pance Zezhovski in Veles, on the indictment, was intended to force him to give their own « Citroen » vehicle to use the child to abduct the child in Skopje.

Juvenile Vanja and Pance Veles were reported missing on November 27 and 24, and on December 3, 2023, dead were found near Skopje and Veles.
