Trial for the murder of Vanja and Pance

The trial for the killings of Vanja Gjorcevska and Pance Zezhovski continued today at the Basic Criminal Court Skopje with the testimony of defendant Vlatko Kesishev. Answering questions from the defendants’ defendants, Kesishev gave details of the movement of the defendants on the day of Pance Zezhovski’s murder and pointed out that Vanja’s father understood for his father when they were detained.

Kesishev also answered questions about the talks at the party’s headquarters in front of the abduction, saying he knew the first time they dug the hole, that he would be intended for kidnapping people.

« After that we didn’t talk, as far as I remember, until that happens to Pance in Veles, » Kesishev said.

He pointed out that he did not know what purpose was the kidnapping or whom to seek money. A photo of the person who was supposed to be abducted, as he said, saw after posting it on Facebook.

Asked whether anyone in his presence before the murder appeared to the child’s mother and father, he replied that he had not seen and heard, and asked if the child had mentioned the mother and father of the child after the murder, he replied that everyone was silent.

Asked by the girl’s father, Aleksandar Gjorcevski, who was asked by defender Vladimir Tufegljic, he responded that he had heard about Gjorcevski for the first time when he was in custody and understood that he was the father of Vanja.

Asked if he personally saw or heard that the first defendant Ljupco Palevski had talked to the girl’s father by phone, Kesishev categorically replied: « Never, I never send him with whom. »

The trial continued with the examination of Kesishev by defendant Ljupco Palevski. He announced that there were more than 90 questions, MIA reports.

According to the announcement, after Kesishev’s hearing, Vanja’s father, Aleksandar Gjorcevski and Ljupco Palevski, should testify.

The indictment states that Ljupco Palevski, Bore Videvski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kesishov and Aleksandar Gjorcevski, together planned the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja in order to force a member of her immediate family to give money for ransom. The abduction of the damaged Pance Zezhovski in Veles, on the indictment, was intended to force him to give their own « Citroen » vehicle to use the child to abduct the child in Skopje.

Juvenile Vanja and Pance Veles were reported missing on November 27 and 24, and on December 3, 2023, dead were found near Skopje and Veles.
