Kept in the magic and variety

The majority of those who buy tickets to the festival comes again and again and preferably do not want to miss anything, which is almost impossible as some events start at the same time in different places. It is therefore necessary to plan well and emphasize what you find most exciting every time. It is also fun to come as a surprise with something that you have not seen or heard before and it happens every year.

The essence rather dense

The essence of those who attend the festival usually is rather dense and you see the same faces annually, but also lots of new faces. Friends groups come together to attend and so the festival has been well asked so that there are always some new concert guests every year.

As the evening progresses, the small places will be crowded very quickly. Most concert guests have realized that it is wise to meet early in my places so as not to miss their favorite musicians.

Each item is found in two different places in the town at different times and with good organization you can get over a lot. Those who are unable to penetrate the living room in the smallest homes can stand in the lobby, on the steps or in the garden and listen there, which is also fun. Then there is often a rewarding intimacy with other guests who are in the same position.

Old friends and acquaintances who have not been seen for a long time would often meet this evening last winter, take a talk or kink just one to each other. It is also fun to meet new people that you have not met before and exchange views and enjoy the togetherness and music.

The town is simply alive, people are in the thin between places or in tranquility to discuss the issues and compare their books. The atmosphere is unique, all so happy and grateful for this good enterprise. And what is no less interesting is that every year you hear and see something new; Something that one might have had questions about but not learned so far.

The weather with the best offset

The weather has, of course, been different in the evening of last winter during the over a decade that the festival has been held. Sometimes cold, a little rain and wind, which is only good when you have been in a crowded living room with someone where the temperature has reached the highest heights due to crushing. Then it is good to get back out and cool off just before going to the next place. Now this year the weather was at its best compared to the season, as is usually the case before, and cannot be complained about at all.

You often meet the same people in the stroll between places and maybe ask: Where are you going next? This time, the vast majority came to see Pál Óskar and guitarist Ásgeir Ásgeirsson when they appeared in the backyard on Suðurgata. There the stream lay in the middle of the evening and Palli returned with great splendor as always. It is very gratifying what he has done well after the jaw fracture that everyone was aware of. Palli appeared in two more places and heated up for Celebs with his dance -friendly pearls at the end of Bæjarbíó.

Celebs were refreshed at the festival.

All the musicians performed well with variants, but it was Hafdís Huld who opened the festival, Dóra and the dates, K.ola, Brimbrot, Gissur Páll, Teitur Magnússon, Ólöf Arnalds, Axel Flóvent, Páll Óskar, Eiki Hauks Which beat the final tone this time.

So remarkable wants me to see nine of the thirteen items that were available. It was a great fun and fun to have the opportunity to enjoy a live music performance in a good group of music enthusiasts who enjoyed the evening at the bottom.
