Kelemen Hunor, about Visa Waiver. It’s a new, drastic policy
The president of the UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, told AGERPRES on Sunday, with reference to a possible postponement of the application of the Visa Waiver program for Romania, that such a measure would be related to the ‘drastic’ policy related to the US immigration, pointing out that our country will have arguments and find the possibility of discussing with the administration in Washington.
‘It is the policy of immigration in the United States, it is a new, drastic policy. I say that, at this moment, it is important to have patience and to have arguments if, at this analysis, we are asked. It’s not a novelty. You have seen how these changes in the United States started in the United States and, of course, we were at the starting line to lift the visas and we must see what happens next. (…) We must have arguments and seek relationships and the opportunity to talk to the administration, this is important. We need to know what we want to do, « said Kelemen Hunor.
In his opinion, it is a difficult time, which must be viewed in a wider context.

If it were only Romania, it was another discussion, it was another context, but in the big picture, what happens is not very, very comfortable, but it is not good to panic and swear to America, because for them domestic politics is in the first place, « added the UDMR leader.
He participated in Miercurea-Ciuc in an event organized by the municipality to mark the completion of the rehabilitation works of an important road artery in the industrial area of the city.
