Kaunas Lagoon drove a gold medal for Latvia

Fifteen racers from Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Great Britain, Germany, Estonia and Slovakia tried their hand at Kaunas Lagoon.
Our country was represented by Edgar Riabko and Egidijus Dagilis, a double -time European Champion of the F2 World Cup.
Among the participants were World Champions Portuguese in Duarte Benavent (2020) and German Stefan Hagin (2022), 2023. Planetary Bronze Medal Winner Estas Stefan Arand.
For the titled guests, Lithuanian waters were successful: for technical and other reasons, Benavente took only ninth place, Hagin – eleventh, S. Arandas – fourteenth.
The track faced the track, but the Latvian Dainis Podjukas and Jarn Vilmunen avoided the more painful consequences, and the motor only of E. Dagilis and Finnish Tin Leht.

Lijcis secured the gold medal after the third winning swimming (a total of 1,200 records), so he missed the fourth.
« During the second swim, one screw wing collapsed, a strong vibration broke out, but succeeded in finishing. It also had to a change in the gearbox, » the European champion said after the race.
Lijcis was particularly pleased with the Mercury Racing APX V8 4.6 l 250 hp engine capabilities.
« When starting, this engine has no equivalent competitors, » Riabko, who became vice champion, admitted.

The Lithuanian racer, who scored only 169 points for the first fines for the judges, finished the second and third swim and won the fourth.

The next F2 competition is the first round of the World Cup, which will take place on June 27-29. In Italy.
