Kamnic women spoiled a party under Pohorje
Calcita volleyball players from Kamnik were better than OTP Banka Branik at the fourth game of the national championship in Maribor 3-0 (23, 13, 14). The Kamnic women thus equaled the score at 2: 2 and forced the fifth game, which will play on Wednesday in Kamnik.
Calcita volleyball players started the match better and led for most of the first set and eventually won it with 25:23. The Maribor play in the second and third sets dropped even more, as they did not find the answer to the playful game of competitors.
The latter in the second set even more convincingly controlled the course of the match and celebrated with 25:13. The competitors from Maribor broke mainly thanks to their excellent reception and block. In the third set, the Kamnic women also initiated and increased the advantage, which at the end of the set was 11 points (25:14). In the winners, with 16 points and 15 points, they stood out the most Masha Pucelj and Mika Grbavicawhile the most successful of the locals Iza Mlakarwhich scored 17 points.
The Kamnic women are the defenders of the title, previously won four consecutive national titles, while Maribor women won the title of the best in the country in the 2018/2019 season. Kamnic women have been national champions eight times so far and Maribor women sixteen times.
