The woman’s body was found when the neighbors were worried that they hadn’t seen her for a long time. There was also an unpleasant smell from the apartment. Investigators entered him strength and discovered the corpse of a 53-year-old in him. They were in a state of significant decomposition. The police decided that it was a murder, because the woman had numerous injuries and the corpse was covered. On Thursday, June 5, the prosecutor’s office announced that she had detained a 62-year-old friend of the deceased in this case. According to investigators, he was to kill a friend, and then for several days he came to her apartment, where he left her body and take her dog and feed him. That’s how he promised its owner before.

On the basis of the findings made, the prosecutor accused the man that in a specifically unknown day of May 2025, acting with a direct intention of deprivation of life, during the row he inflicted the victim using a knife with a total length of 31.3 cm, the length of the blade 20 cm and width 4 cm in the widest place in the abdomen and chest wound
– says Maciej Meler, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
The 62-year-old pleaded guilty.

– The man confessed to the accusation and explained in which he tried to diminish his participation in the event, indicating that for a few days from the murder to the moment he was detained every day he came to the premises where he hid the women’s corpse to bring and feed the dog of the Husky breed, which he promised the injured person with whom he had to keep friends from the event – reveals prosecutor Meler.
The suspect has been threatened for 10 years to life imprisonment. On Friday, June 6, the court will decide whether to take into account the prosecutor’s request for detention on remand.
