Kalenikova: We believe in this team, we have ambitious long -term plans and we hope to achieve them

After a great and uncertain fight in a five-seed match, Rabotnicki-Skopje’s young volleyball players reached the bronze medal at the final Final Four tournament in the youth competition.

They celebrated 3-2 in sets in the small final (20-25, 25-15, 25-15, 18-25, 15-9) over Gazeli Volley at the Jane Sandanski Sports Center in Skopje.

The very ranking in the final of the Youth Final Four is both a success for both teams, especially for the team of Gazeli Volley who played this season in the Second League, and with the young and ambitious squad secured a place in the strongest female volleyball league.

– We are a young and promising team and we enter every match with high ambitions, but youth and inexperience have done their part in yesterday’s semifinal and today in the third place match. We had a problem with the concentration after the fall in the game, it is difficult for young and inexperienced players to overcome and return to the game. These are girls born 2008 and 2009 who are young cadets by age and play in youth competition. But however we have ambitious long -term plans as a team and I believe we will accomplish with hard and dedicated work – said Gazeli coach Volley Branka Kalenikova.
