Jonas fifth in the third round of the World Cup / Day

« Kawasaki » rider Jonas was in sixth place in the first round of the first race, but then tried to climb. At one point, the Latvian threatened the fourth position of Italian Matia Gadaniini, but fell. However, failure did not prevent the top six.

The victory was celebrated by Slovenian Tim Gajser, second, despite the overheated motorcycle engine, was Frenchman Roman Fevr, and third place was Belgian Lukas Kunen.

Also in the second race, Jonas fought mostly in the middle of the top ten, confirming his superiority over Gadanini in the recent laps and finishing sixth. The top three were identical to the first trip.

In the stage, Gajser had 50 points, Fevram 44, Koonen – 40, Gadaniini 32 and Jonas – 30th World Cup overall leader Gayer has 167 points, while Fevr has scored 29 points less, while Jonas is sixth with 86 points.

In the MX2 class, Karlis Alberts Reišulis, who rides the Yamaha motorcycle, was unbeaten in the first race and was in the lead in the first laps, but the sequel was not so successful and he retreated to 11th place. The first German Simon Lengenfelders finished.

The second trip, Reishul, was not so successful, and in the middle he fought to tenth place, but was in the finish 16th. The victory was won by Italian Andrea Adamo.

Also, Adamo was the first with 47 points, beating Lengenfelder by two points, while Reišuli gave 15 points in 15th place. In this class, the overall standings are much closer – Liam Everts, the leader with 135 points, is fourth today, 132 points for Lengenfelder, and 130 points in the fifth position of this stage, Netherlands Kajs de Wolf. Reishulis is 11th with 58 points.
