Janevska: I expect the State Matura to pass in order and peace, I wish the students happiness and success
This year I expect everything to go well and peace, with much less unwanted actions, or prescribing, which have happened in the past. I wish the students happiness and success and a successful career – either at the faculties or the labor pastry, said the Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska, at the beginning of the first external exam from the state high school language – mother tongue and literature.
At 10 o’clock today, the first part of the state high school graduation in the high schools, ie in the amphitheaters of the faculties for those schools that do not have spatial conditions.
Janevska visited the Faculty of Agriculture at UKIM where high school graduates from the schools « Maria Curry Sklodovska » and « Dimitar Vlahov », as she said, insighted how the processes are going.
– Everything is fine, I thank the Faculty of Agriculture and all other faculties and other universities that have met the education system. I wish students successfully passing and good success. I urge the testers and observers to do their job responsibly and I emphasize that the legislation has been strengthened and I do not expect anyone to take risks of sanctions – said Janevska after visiting high school graduates today at the Faculty of Agriculture.
He told students that this is an integral part of their education and that « there is no need for any stress ».
– They passed the material and they only had to repeat it. I expect them not to use any innovative methods to get the correct answers because they are at risk of losing a whole year. I wish the students happiness and success and a successful career – either at the faculties or the labor staff – said Janevska.
Over 15,000 students in the final year of secondary education today take the first of two external exams from this year’s state high school – mother tongue and literature that is mandatory for all high school graduates. 9969 Macedonian language students, 4339 for Albanian language, 292 for Turkish language and 10 Serbian language students, have been reported.
According to the State Examination Center (DIC), 15,004 candidates have been reported for this year’s high school graduation. Of these, 8,816 students are of vocational high schools, 5966 gymnasiums and 222 of art schools.
The second external exam from the State Matura, which is elective for students, will be taken on June 11.
