Lara: Almost left with my husband before meeting
(dpa) – Alexandra Maria Lara and Sam Riley have been married for almost 16 years. Before the first encounter with the British actor, the actress (46) was « actually quite annoyed », as Lara said to the magazine « Stern » when asked whether it was love at first glance. In 2006 they met while filming “Control” in England.
But because production was « not exactly well organized », it almost left when she arrived in Nottingham, she said. « I stood at the agreed meeting point with my roller case, and nobody was there. I called my agent and said: If I don’t find someone right now, I’ll sit back on London on the next train. »
