Ivo Obrez from ‘Love is in the Country’ revealed that he had a heart attack: ‘Good luck so I didn’t drive then’

Ivo Obrezaformer candidate of the popular show ‘Love is in the countryside‘, he found his soulmate in Vesnaeven though she was not one of the girls who were staying on his farm. Their acquaintance began during the recording of the show, and the friendship eventually developed into a real love story. They are engaged today, reports RTL.

– It was a joke first. Now the engagement has really happened. I am surprised, although Ivo announced that he would propose to me. We went from the city, it was a little ugly weather and it was raining. Ivo stood in front of the church and got out of the car and came to my passenger side. He asked me to go out, and I asked him what to do in the rain now, and he knelt in front of me. She was more than a good judgment. It really was a surprise to me, ”Vesna revealed.

But their happiness briefly overshadowed the serious health crisis. In February this year, Ivo suffered a heart attack.

– That happened after work. I couldn’t believe it would happen to me. After ‘Love is in the countryside’, I got a job as a bus driver. Fortunately, there was no steering wheel but when I got home. It happened during the night, and after that they installed my stent – Ivo said. After the intervention and installation of stent, he went to sick leave and went through therapies.

Despite everything, Ivo points out that he feels better. He has introduced some changes to the lifestyle, so it moves more, especially since he and Vesna got the dog. Still, he admits that he is still struggling with smoking.

“I will definitely try that – He said, adding that he was looking forward to returning to work, although he still felt tired with greater physical exertion.

The couple currently arranges their new apartment, and when everything is over, they are planning a wedding.
