21-year-old Avarie Anne Tierney flew to Rome of California as part of the student exchange program. Nothing announced that her stay in the Italian capital would end tragically.
Last Wednesday, April 9, a young woman went with friends to a vegan restaurant in the Pigneto district. While ordering a meal, she tried to explain to the service that she was allergic to cashews. The staff probably did not understand her request because of the language barrier.

After eating a sandwich, Avarie had symptoms of anaphylactic shock. The girl ran out of the premises and went towards her place of accommodation to take medicine. She didn’t make it. The 21-year-old lost consciousness before entering the building.
Italian media reports that rescuers soon appeared on the spot, who gave the student two doses of cortisone and resuscitated it for 30 minutes. Unsuccessfully. Avarie died.
The Italian police are investigating in this matter. The services check whether there has been irregularities in the restaurant.
On the Avarie profile on Instagram there are a lot of photos that prove how enjoyed how to travel to Italy.
