Italy in Klaipeda – next weekend

This bridge should keep 100 people passing at the same time. It will be able to use the people of Klaipeda for about a month.

The festival itself is expected on Friday evening, when the Italian music fiesta with the Laluna radio station will be held on the Dane Square stage, after which the most memorable movie soundtracks will be performed there.

The theatrical musical opening of the celebration is planned that day at 8 pm. Above the new pedestrian bridge on a stretched rope, the acrobat will walk, the darkness will be illuminated by the fire show, the theatrical performances of Venice masks, and at 9:30 p.m. A concert of live sound bands and Italian performer Robert Meloni will begin.

Already, Klaipeda residents can plan to spend all Saturday in the heart of the city.

The Meridiano will be able to look at the Italian cars, motorcycles and scooters of collectors.

Today, the mood is Italian.

The organizers are determined to make more than 600 pizzas in Klaipeda, and the citizens with chefs will be able to make paste, and Sommelier will be tale of wines.

From the afternoon, the gondolas have been swimming in the sky, and they will be sung in Venice, as it happens. Maestro Milo Long, who lives in Klaipeda and works in Music Theater, will appear on the stage of Dane Square.

Presenting the first « Italian Days in Klaipėda » festival, port city mayor Arvydas Vaitkus did not hide his sentiment to sunny Italy and admitted to his wife to celebrate the wedding anniversary in Venice.

« Today’s mood is Italian. I want the festival to become traditional. It is new and interesting. I love Italy, I am glad that the Embassy of this country will participate in our event, » the city mayor said.

Italian days will begin with many events in Klaipeda public spaces throughout the summer. In addition to the traditional and loved people of Klaipeda, new ones are expected this year for the whole family.
