Italian motorcyclist died at the scene

On Sunday at 19.14, the first car accident with a fatal result this year occurred in the northern Primorska region, on a regional road near the settlement Neblo in the municipality of Brda. Due to serious injuries, the driver of a motorcycle died at the scene of the accident, « said spokesman for the Nova Gorica Police Department Dean Božnik.

Police officers informed the competent judicial authorities of the fatal accident, and the doctor ordered a sanitary autopsy at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Ljubljana to determine the exact cause of death. In addition to the police officers of the Nova Gorica traffic police station, the NMP ZD Nova Gorica rescuers and professional firefighters from Nova Gorica intervened at the scene.

A serious accident

A motorcyclist fell in Koper on Saturday at 9.40pm. It turned out that a 27-year-old passenger car driver and a 29-year-old motorcycle driver were driving down the Šmarje Road. At some point, they drove to the right lane, the motorcyclist Zavrl, lost power and fell and injured himself. Carniolan police officers rushed to the scene of the accident on Sunday around 9.40pm due to a 43-year-old mopedist who did not adjust the speed and conditions of the carriageway and fell.
