We all believe in something.
For example, I believe that we can know the universe around us. It can be recognized because it follows some rules that we usually call natural laws. And these laws are universal, consistent and generally valid.
Just the last may not be true.
It has been speculated in scientific circles for several years that – if we take it really wide – some natural rules may change. That different natural laws could apply hypothetically in different spaces (not only under different conditions). Or that these natural laws could develop over time.
For example, if the ingredients we considered to be constants were changed. Maybe such the effect of the so -called dark energy, and consequently the expansion of cosmos.
Without embarking on this place, this is exactly what this suggests, and the word hint is absolutely key (it has 2.8 to 4.2 Sigma, the discovery requires 5 Sigma), as it is still not a discovery, results of the Arizona experiment desi. The combined results have so far showed that the effects of dark energy have weakened over time. And, among other things, it means that Einstein physics has come across its borders.
Finally.
We know that our ideas about the functioning of cosmos are good in practice but very limited. Recent years (not only) physicists have been searching for new physics, stepping for the so -called standard model.
Some are exploring the small world of particles and are looking for anomalies between them that could open the door to fascinating discoveries somewhere behind the mirror. Others do not look at the smallest, but, on the contrary, the greatest that surrounds us in the cosmos: galaxy movements and the expected consequences of dark matter and energy.
A new data analysis collected in three years, which carries a survey of 15 million galaxies and scientists have combined with previous microwave research research, supernov and phenomenon known as gravitational lens, has shown that the standard cosmological model could not explain satisfactorily. However, the model is best coincided with the data, which says that the influence of dark energy changes over time: and such a cosmological constant is not actually a constant.
