“All the covers of my albums put me forward. I stayed in this logic. Everything was done in a rather improvised way. At first, I only had the name of the disc, Another place. I spoke to my friend Alex Bulli, photographer. He found the concept and my wife, Christine Fraguela, as usual, made the design according to the photo that sets the tone of the visual. The shoot took place in our friends’ studio, the Tropico Beauty, managed by the Giraffe Sisters. We installed accessories that we had brought in with us. The chosen shots, Christine reviewed several ideas for graphics. ”

“I brought back this chair and this table. Alex brought the plants, but television was already in the studio when we arrived. We love the aesthetics of these old discs with the design of the 70s and we wanted to recreate something like that. But everything was improvised in the last minute. It helped us that all the accessories we used give a 1970s touch. It was not intentional, but it ended up having a very retro look. ”

“We wanted a slightly bizarre atmosphere on the cover. At the start, I did not intend that it was destabilizing, but I am happy to see that this feeling was caused by this image. This means that we managed to reach a kind of emotion during the shoot. It is a minimalist album and the cover can convey this emotion. It is darker than my previous ones, so maybe that explains this slightly disturbing side transmitted by the visual. I like the way the blue of my jacket comes out and contrasts well with orange and yellow. Usually, I am not very comfortable in the photos and there I seem relaxed. This is what makes me say that it is a good pocket. ”
