It has already been reported that this year, too, the 9% centralized exams will suffice at least 10%, according to the government’s decision a week before the start of the 9th grade centralized exam.

The Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) explains the decision on the 9th grade test performance threshold for another school year with the lack of support mechanisms – several of them are only in the implementation stage.

Grade 9 students took centralized exams for the first time in the 2022/2023 school year. At that time, 881 pupils fell out in one of the three exams. Of those who repeatedly passed the exams next year, 86.8% passed them and 13.2% no.

In this school year, 696 pupils who have fallen into one of the national tests in the previous examination session are re -completed in the 9th grade.

During the secondary education, the 12th grade centralized exam threshold is 20%this school year, as expected in the past.
