She said the message described how her then partner had written to the other woman and 'behaved as if he were single'. And it ended up turning upside down on her life as it caused her to interrupt the relationship.

« So he's single now, » she continued.

Erin has been interviewed by the media Newsweek in the wake of the video that – as I said – ended up going viral.

« My heart sank right away, » she explained to the media.

Erin, who lives in New York, added that she felt motivated to share her story on social media because it is 'too common in today's dating world'.

« I think it's important to acknowledge that women are not the ones to be blamed in a situation like this. And I think that's why many women might choose not to send that message, » she said.

In the video, Erin praised the alien woman and expressed her love for women who are not afraid to reveal men who are unfaithful.

« There are women out there doing God's work, » she said in the video, adding that she showed her appreciation by sending the woman a gift card.

« I sent her a little Starbucks gift card to say, 'Thanks for your efforts. Take a little snack on my bill as you just saved me from a life full of lies'. »

The video has received more than 79,000 likes and 1,400 comments in a short time, where many women have shared their own experiences with similar situations.

« I had a woman who contacted me via my e-mail with evidence and screens. I got divorced and told her that I owed her my life. If she hadn't told me that, my life would look very different, » a user wrote.

« I contacted the girlfriend of the man I saw (not knowing he wasn't single) as soon as I found out. All my female friends were proud of me. My male 'friends' were angry at me to contact her, » it sounded from another.

However, a user's experience showed that this type of message does not always end happily. However, it was not her mistake that it ended up as it did.
