It all started with a moving entry in the popular group « Spotted 2 Konin ». The woman claimed that at night from Saturday to Sunday she was attacked by an unknown man.
« Psychopath in Konin. Read, because it could meet everyone. I am looking for a driver who at 23:10 was driving through Nowy Dwór. I want to warn other girls – be careful if you drive alone. Yesterday I was almost killed » – she wrote. The post raised local social media instantly, arousing anxiety and avalanche of comments.
The police react: « The entry is not consistent with the recording of the conversation »
The Municipal Police Headquarters in Konin issued an official statement in the case. As reported, the woman actually contacted the duty officer – but only two hours after the described event, June 1 at 1:01 am at night.
« During the telephone conversation (which she made two hours after the event) the woman was informed by the duty officer to come to the Municipal Police Headquarters in Konin and talk about the entire incident with the officers of the criminal department – which she did not do » – they tell the uniform. After several attempts at contact, the woman was questioned on Wednesday.
Questions arose under the post: why did the police not react immediately and did not send the patrol? In response, officers explain that each situation is assessed individually.
