Israel threatens Hutists and Iran, Tehran announces a counter -attack
The responsibility for the impact at the Ben Gurion Airport was taken over by the Hutists, rebels who have the support of Tehran and control large parts of the Yemen.
« We were targeting Gen Gurion Airport with a hypersonic ballistic missile that successfully hit a target, » said Hutista who regularly send missiles on the name of Israel on behalf of the Palestinian defense in Gaza.
« Hutist attacks come from Iran. Israel will respond to the (this) attack by Hutist … and at a time that suits him and to the place we choose, to their Iranian terrorist masters, » said Netanyahu, who announced a security cabinet meeting on Sunday night.
« We have acted against them in the past and we will act in the future … It will not pass only one ‘boom’ but there will be many of them, » Netanyahu said.
This is the first time the missile has directly hit the area within the perimeter of the airport, a spokesman for the Israeli army told the AFP.
Iran: We will reciprocate if Israel or USA attack
Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Naisrzada said on Sunday that he would return Tehran if he reached an American or Israeli attack on Iran, responding to Netanyahu’s promise to retaliate against Iran.
« If this war initiates the US or the Zionist regime, Iran will target their interests, base and strength – whatever they are and whenever they are assessed, » Nasirzade said to Iranian state television.
Nasirzade said that the Hutists are acting according to their own motivations, which is the official attitude of Iran.
The United States attacks Hutist’s headquarters in Yemen from March 15, and US President Donald Trump promised to hold Iran responsible for any attacks the group performs.
Iran is not « hostile to the neighboring countries », but in the event of an attack, Tehran will consider the US base in the region, Masirzade said.
