The Bibass family was kidnapped on October 7, 2023. by Hamas terrorists from their home at the Nir Oz kibbutz at the Gaza Strip. The Bibas was 32 years old at the time of abduction, the older of her sons Ariel was a four -year -old, while the younger kfir was nine months old. Terrorists also kidnapped the father of the Jarden Bibas family, who was separated from loved ones and was imprisoned separately.
A video appeared on the web showing a desperate mother squeezing two of her children when terrorists came after them. The husband failed to defend them. The attackers entered the family home and forced the shelter door. The woman and the children were kidnapped. The film can hear the screams: « She has a child. »

For 16 months, the fate of his mother and her children remained unknownand finally it was confirmed that they were brutally murdered in captivity. Their bodies were returned to Israel for Hamas last week as part of the arms suspension contained in January. The husband and father of the family Jarden Bibas was released on February 1.
On Wednesday in Israel, the funeral of Shiri Bibas and her two sons took place. Their death shocked the world, and their history became a symbol of the unimaginable suffering of innocent victims of violence. Thousands of people accompanied them on the last way.
Poland commemorated the victims of terror
In a gesture of solidarity with a murdered Bibass family Polish cities have highlighted in orange – the color of the children of killed children – symbols of their cities. Among them Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, Gdańsk and many others.
This symbolic action is an expression of memory and opposition to terror that consumed the life of this innocent family. In this way, Poland has joined many other countries around the world, such as the USA, Brazil, Spain, France, Germany and Canada, which expressed their solidarity with the victims of terror, highlighting the main objects and monuments in orange.
