According to Palestinian information, Israel’s warning was received 20 minutes before the rocket attack on Sunday night in the Al-Ali Clinic in the north of Gaza City. The medical staff hectically brought the patients outdoors before two rockets hit the area and made the hospital in no way – the only one in the north of the Gaza Strip that was still in operation and is operated by Baptists. Nobody was harmed this time, but the consequences are larger.
Israel suspected a Hamas command center in the clinic, from where the terrorists planned and executed their attacks – like at the beginning of the Gaza War a year and a half ago, when the first Israeli air raids were met with medical facilities. Part of the world public reacted indignantly. The Israeli war strategy has either failed. Or Hamas has reorganized and uses public institutions as an operation base.
