Israel says it has repulsed an attack of Huthi rebels

The Israeli army said on March 23 that he had dropped a rocket released by Yemen before entering Israeli territory.

This attack presents an escalation of the situation between Israel and the Jemenian rebels, Huthi, who are supported by Iran.

The Yemeni rebels took responsibility for the attack, saying the group fired a ballistic missile towards Ben Gurion airport, near Tel Aviv, said military spokesman Yahya Saree.

Saree said the attack led to the suspension of air traffic at the airport for an hour and a half.

However, the authority that manages airports in Israel said the airport was not affected by the attack.

Huthi rebellious spokesman – a terrorist group declared by the United States – without offering any evidence, claimed that rebels on Sunday had carried out attacks on US aircraft, USS Harry S. Truman, in the Red Sea.

Huthi rebels have recently pledged to escalate attacks, including attacks on Israel, in response to US attacks earlier this month, which constitute the largest US military operation in the Middle East since President Donald Trump returned to the White House in January.

American attacks on Yemeni rebels have left at least 50 people dead.

Likewise, the last attack of the Yemeni rebels comes after they have pledged to expand their goals in Israel, in response to the resumption of Israeli attacks in Gaza who have left hundreds killed in recent days.
