Israel promised « destruction » of gas and « minimal » aid, but allowed a dialogue for the end of war

Representatives of the Israeli government send divergent but highly threatening signals hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had approved aid to the strip two months after the blockade renewed to calm the United States.

However, while Israel evacuates Khan Denis, the second largest city in Gaza, negotiations with Hamas in Doha continue – with at least three different suggestions on the table – and Netanyahu for the first time allows the end of the war while the US is intensifying the pressure for dialogue. The US pressure also caused Netanyahu to decline to resume aid as he tries to avoid a concussion in his coalition because of the resistance of the other far -right partner, Betsalel Smotrich, the Minister of Interior Security.

At a briefing of the Foreign Ministry in Israel, which also included Dnevnik, the general director of the institution Eden Bar explained that his country was beginning to give aid days before the distribution centers were ready, which, according to an earlier approved Israeli-American plan, should be used for this purpose. According to him, flour will be delivered to bakeries of international organizations, medicines, baby foods and more, as « Israel always complies with international law. »

Since the expansion of Gaza operations last week, with 5 active divisions of the Israeli Defense Force, health authorities in the strip and Palestinian doctors and sources of foreign media have been talking about dozens of killed every day (and over 100 in one of the attacks last week, another 136 – the last day).

The White House, meanwhile, said the US president worked tirelessly to make sure the conflict was over.

However, Netanyahu’s considerations are not related to this risk, but to the need for support for the enlarged offensive against Hamas, shaken by images of malnourished residents, including children (the risk that Tel Aviv rejected).

Netanyahu explained on Monday in his Telegram account that the pressure on Israel reached the « red line » to start delivery of aid now, although the distribution centers built for this purpose are not ready.

Netanyahu is referring to the pressure from the United States, which, in his words, is at risk of not receiving support for his expanded offensive if he himself creates the risk of starvation (Tel Aviv denies gas again on the verge of a humanitarian crisis, but such information comes from international representatives and from people in the enclave). « Senators I know as Israel’s supporters come to me and say: We will give you all the help to win the war, but we can’t get hunger photos. »

The aid for the Palestinians in Gaza would be minimal until the distribution centers in the strip were built in the strip to avoid mass hunger.

The representative of the ministry again accused Hamas of taking advantage of the aid previously delivered by Israel for its needs and to recruit new fighters, and as it diverted the war. That is why the new model for assistance with the US organization GHF was made, without the involvement of the Israeli army (which will only provide security in the perimeter, but not in the distribution centers).

Netanyahu also practically spoke to Israeli politicians after some far-right politicians and especially Itarm Ben-Gvir. Anger against Netanyahu’s decision to deliver aid and to avoid a humanitarian crisis were also expressed by representatives of his own Likud Party. An activist group, who blocked before trucks with gas aid, called on their members to mobilize again.

Trump « gave to understand that he wants an end to war »
